World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:

  • Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

Hey everyone, those planning on going to the climbing gym on Sat. the time has changed from noon to 1:00 pm. Hope to see you there!

29:58 by 25s in a desperate attempt to save my hands. Didn't work--they ripped anyway. I did improve by doing pull ups and real push ups. Last time I did Angie with ring rows and knee push ups...maybe next time I'll do it as rx'd.

OH, and I ran a mile on my treadmill this morning at varying degrees of incline. I won't share my pitiful time!

Somewhere between 38 & 41 min. w/ 1st 20 pull-ups being my version of regular, the rest were kip swings.

My timer stopped somehow while Angie was beating on me. She is a Brute, that's for sure. I look forward to meeting her again next year.
