Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
Deadlift 135 lbs 100 reps in as few sets as possible
Rest 3-5 minutes
Max set of Push-ups in 2 minutes Max set of Squats in 2 minutes Max set of Double Unders in 2 minutes
Post sets/reps and numbers for max's to comments.

Lookin' good Tarah!
Okay, last several basketball games I have ended up playing the entire game and I have not felt like dying once. (of course my 1/2 Grace almost killed me the other day!) Anyway, we played the freshman girl's team tonight and one. Pretty big for us since they slaughtered us the first game. I'm around 19 years older than most of them and we are refered to us as the "mom team". It's a lot of fun being able to keep up with these young girls. They can still outrun me speedwise but I can more than keep up with them in the stamina dept. I also almost had a double-double. 11 rebounds and 8 points. Not bad for a point guard. Okay, I've bragged enough on myself, just wanted you all to know it was a lot of fun. Can't wait for the DL's tomorrow.
Jason....are you getting more sadistic!? I havent been posting here for a while, but the last several workouts have been killers.
Today...100 deads in 6 sets
pushups was 75 (a far cry from the 110 from my days in the army)
squats were ...I dont even remember now...I think 55?
double unders were smooth and easy...i just could lift up my legs! I did just 45 of those!
Did a mixture of things today. Started with a performance menu WOD from a few days ago. Muscle snatches-3 sets of 2 (95,100,110); Power snatch + snatch 60% of max; Clean + PJ + J 60% of max, both for 3 sets. Then did todays WOD, DL 2 sets (97,3) tried so hard to get that last three but my grip in my left hand petered out.
2min of PU's 64(rediculous)I definitly need to start doing pu's everyday. squats (104), and DU's (170). Finished with 3 rounds of 10 50# sandbag power cleans and lunge L/R, 30 sit-ups and 10 1.5 pood extended rope swings. Lots of volume, made me very tired. Nice job to everyone, Don't you just LOVE this stuff!
as rx'd 25,25,15,25,15=105 did the extra 5 for not pushing hard enough to get 4 sets of 25.
honest pu: 35 :(
SQ: 56
DU: 0, my legs would not allow me to jump!!!
I have missed crossfit. nearly cut off my thumb on a table saw 3 weeks ago and couldn't do anything. this would also account for my poor performance today. Had trouble griping the bar today. enjoyed it and glad to be back.
DL 95#
31-31-38
PU-31 (no knees)
SQ-72
DU-0/18 (do overs)
Never really worked too hard on DU's because the usually anger me. First try tonight was with one of the black ropes. Tried again when Tab went, that time with the Buddy Lee rope. I definitely like that c.a. rope better. (See board for explanation of c.a. It was nice to beat my husband at something!!)
Forgot the most important thing, finally, after 10 months of crossfit, I got two, count 'em two, chin-over-the-bar kipping pull ups!! They anger me too!!
DL: 35-25-20-20
PU: 58 honest pushups (belly to floor)... Jason wants me to go lower, so either I'll hollow out and touch my chest to the floor, or you're gonna have to hollow out the floor for my belly to go into
SQ: 95
DU: 50ish?
The question mark is because i've not been feeling so American Hero-ish lately. My schedule is starting to take its toll! I don't know how some of you do CF everyday of the week! 3 days in a row is about all i can handle without a break.
DL (Rx'd): 20-10-21-20-20-9
PU: 34

Maybe I'm more tired than I thought, we "won" not "one".
